ANA Holiday Inn Resort Miyazaki By IHG

Right next to the ocean. My ocean view room had a beautiful view. Room is fairly clean but not as clean as I would have expected. Walkable distance to the Aoshima Island.

It’s dated, dirty in a lot of places. Hallway carpets and ceiling are all stained. Front desk staff is a bit standoff-ish.

Hotel had everything we wanted. Breakfast, buffet dinner, large public hot baths, beach and bicycle rentals, excellent storage for our beach gear and convenient location to stores etc.

Promimity to beach. Large rooms. 80's vibe.

The hotel locates at the famous Miyazaki "Aoshima" Beach. The hotel has an direct access to the beach where we enjoyed lovely walks during our stay. Staffs were friendly. A cute surfing gear shop is right next to the hotel where you can have a morning coffee. The Onsen hot spring bath house was awesome.

The facilities were a bit old but I think that happens to many other Japanese hotels at classic tourists spots....

Lack of towel bars or hooks for towels.

The room is spacious, and the hotel is conveniently located just by the sea. There’s an ice and drink vending machine near the rooms’ lift lobby, which is a great and convenient feature.Bed is comfortable and staffs are friendly. You can park your car at the lots opposite the hotel which they will help to pay when the parking space are full outside the hotel

Far away from downtown. Difficult to find a restaurant for dinner. But most annoying, we booked the hotel because it has a pool, but it was empty. So we couldn’t use it. Really sad. Our kids were so exited for this and finally quite disappointed

This is my second time settle in this hotel, staff remain polite and helpful. Breakfast was good. Convenient store were situated in hotel or nearby. Suitable for relax or family trip.

Great location at the beach with a shop and restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Onsen, laundry, big room. We really enjoyed our stay as family here and had a great time. Very good price.

Hotel seems a bit old and not up to date. Fitnessroom is also old and not so clean.

This is a calm spot in front of the beach. We paid 110 a night for a room on one of the two top floor. Sure this hostel is old but our room was spotless!

Some people did not follow the rules like smoking or keeping the ice bucket...There is also some building disfunction probably because of its age. (For instance you can't open your windows while its windy because it'll make your door clack a lot...) but overall its all minor/irelevant stuff, especialy at this price tag.

It was already end of season so even we had an ocean view room, it was windy and not walkable outside. It must be so nice if it was summer time.

Good location and comfortable room

We have a slightly different sleeping configuration over the booking that we had for the 3 rooms. They are not able to adjust the futon settings so end up we have to do it ourselves, at the end of a long day.

I regret to say that our experience at the ANA Hotel was quite disappointing. Upon our arrival, the bellboy at the front door did not meet our expectations. He was unhelpful with our luggage and displayed a noticeably impolite attitude, which set a negative tone for our stay.Also he was not able to arrange us to parking.As for the room, it felt outdated and dusty. We encountered discomfort throughout the night, and it was particularly unsettling as it felt like we were being bitten by bugs. This made the experience even more unpleasant for my family and me.We hope the hotel can address these issues to enhance the experience for future guests.Thank u

Great location by the sea, great value for money, has a hot spring onsen, buffet breakfast included, a lovely walkway that stretches for a long distance by the sea, properly paved

Its showing its age. Faded and stained carpets. Drawers in onsen room in ladies section are taped together with cello tape . There is a view of the sea in the onsen but the window frames are dated and dirty that it doesn’t do the great views justice. We had the tatami room, blanket is so warm we overheated, in spite of air conditioning . Service staff were very helpful though with requests for extra pillows etc

Got a view of the beach.Parking is convenient within the hotel compound. There's a convenience store beside the hotel.Room is decent for a family of four.Room is old but well - maintained. Will do better with some renovations for upgrade.

Good location, amazing ocean view, specious room. The fitness club is free if you join the Marriott membership.

The property is relatively old. Everything was clean but old facilities.
